I've pre-ordered the book "Real Self-Care: A Transformative Program for Redefining Wellness (Crystals, Cleanses, and Bubble Baths Not Included)"

I've been chronically ill for three years, and it started with my first Covid vaccine. I believe due to an underlying issue I have it really messed with my immune system and then I got Covid two months ago. That really jacked me up.

I went to a functional medicine doctor who ran an extensive amount of tests, and it was enlightening. The fun ended when they "prescribed" about $200 worth of supplements, which I eagerly purchased and used. Only to feel worse.

On the other end of the spectrum is my primary doctor - who likes to prescribe me antibiotics. I can't find a happy middle. It's been a struggle. I have to stroll by my wellness "coach" friends so I am not sucked into that culture again.

Great post - I appreciate your insight.
