I heard you throughout this, but mostly about wellness culture. I have ARFID and for some reason, every video that pops up is about a new “health trend” that “you need to try”. It’s exhausting. Loved this newsletter 💛

As someone who needs to lose some pounds to improve my health, I've been thinking a lot about diet culture. Most of what I see out there is so restrictive, I feel it sets us up for failure. I think you're musing enough things to carry your writing through 2024!

#7 resonates so much! I have been thinking a lot about the way we show up for each other. actually, the combo of #6 and #7 are on my mind a lot, both as a therapist and a Human Person with Big Feelings and a recovering people pleaser.

Also love the image of your book as a house with different memories and sensory experiences in different rooms.

Yes, I’ve been wondering lately whether we’d be better off if “trauma dumping” as a term didn’t exist... just feels like it flattens the nuances that can exist in vulnerable conversations
