Hello! I am here to tell you that I will be teaching a workshop during LANDSCAPES on December 1st from 11 a.m. CST to 12:30 p.m. CST. LANDSCAPES is a really special writing group for all genres facilitated by
and I feel really lucky to be teaching in this space.This workshop is all about how I wrote, edited, published, and marketed my book, UNTIL TENDER. It is called A WRITER’S GUIDE TO WRITING & SELLING YOUR BOOK. If you’ve ever wanted to write a book, put it out in the world, or feel overwhelmed about how to get people to buy it, this is the workshop for you!
We’ll talk about:
Writing your book, embracing rejection, & obsessing over your favorite topics.
Finding submission opportunities, applying for residencies, & choosing the right publishing path for you.
Working with an editor, designing a cover, getting advanced praise, & planning a book tour.
Using social media and newsletters to connect authentically with readers and sell your books.
And use reflection questions and prompts to stay connected to your values and creative vision!
